CONGRATULATIONS SPRING 2024 GRADUATES!

Florida Atlantic University conferred a record-number 3,600 degrees over the course of seven in-person commencement ceremonies in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium. The spring graduates joined more than 207,000 alumni who have graduated from FAU since the University opened its doors in 1964.

“We are incredibly proud of our spring graduates,” said FAU President Stacy Volnick. “It is an honor to usher the members of this class into the next chapter of their lives as Florida Atlantic alumni. We are excited to witness the positive impact they will have in their communities and we look forward to their continued success.”

Offices Relocating Over the Summer for Renovation

Attention campus community! The following departments are temporarily relocating for the summer for renovation:

  • Counseling & Psychological Services

    • We are temporarily located in the Utilities building (UT-5) in Room 121, behind the S.E. Wimberly Library. For more information, click here or call us at 561-297-2277.
  • Women's Resource and Community Connection

    • Our temporary space can be found in the Schmidt Family Complex (SF-107 Rm #158A). For more information, click here or call us at 561-297-1048.
  • Dean of Students

Summer 2024 - Student Parking ePermit Availability

Available Now!

Summer parking ePermits for students will be available starting April 22 and will expire August 22, 2024. Click the link below and follow the prompts to register. License plate numbers serve as the vehicle identifier, please be sure all information is correct to avoid receiving a citation. You are allowed up to two vehicles per permit, but only one vehicle may be parked on campus at a time. For more information visit FAU Parking and Transportation Services.

The SUMMER 2024 Short Term Advance Application from the Office of Student Financial Aid will open on April 22nd. The application will be available on the Money Matters tab of MyFAU. Students may borrow up to $750 for purchasing textbooks, other educational expenses, or unanticipated living expenses.

Construction in Parking Lots #16 & #18

Construction breaking ground is scheduled to start on Monday, April 29, 2024 and tentatively will be 100% completed on /or/ before Friday, August 16, 2024. Parking lots #16 & #18 will be completely closed for that period of time. These lots most directly serve the Student Support Services Building (Building #80).



Owls Care is hiring for the 2024-2025 Academic Year!

Undergraduate Positions- $13/hr

  • Undergraduate Owls Care Leader: Wellness Track has a focus on wellness covering topics from substance safety and mental wellness to healthy lifestyles and more.
  • Undergraduate Owls Care Leaders: WRCC Track work out of the Women's Resource and Community Connection and focus on sexual health and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
  • Jupiter Undergraduate Owls Care Leaders combine the Wellness and WRCC track to educate students on the Honors College on wellness topics and empower them to reach their full potential
    • Undergraduates must have at least 1 year of experience on a college campus, a 2.75 cumulative GPA, and be able to commit to at least 5 hours per week.

Graduate Positions- $15/hr

  • Graduate Student Worker: Health Promotion. Graduate Student Workers have the opportunity to focus on the following content areas:
    • Interpersonal Violence Prevention
    • Emotional & Mental Wellness
    • Substance Safety (Alcohol and Other Drugs)
    • Healthy Lifestyles (cold & flu, sleep, nutrition, etc)
    • Sexual Health
      • Graduates must have a 3.0 GPA and be a full-time student
