FAU Music offers a Master of Music (M.M.) degree, with concentrations in Instrumental Performance, Vocal Performance, Wind Conducting, Choral Conducting, Commercial Music, and Composition.

To apply to FAU for an M.M.:

  1. Apply for admission via the graduate college, who will collect required documents, including college transcripts, through the GradCAS system. Prospective students should try and complete this process at least a few weeks ahead of their scheduled audition date.
  2. Perform a successful audition on your principle instrument or voice (or, for some programs, submit a portfolio) to the FAU Department of Music. To begin this process, please fill out the Graduate Audition Application. You will be contacted by an FAU Music faculty member to make arrangements regarding your audition or portfolio.
